mikroQ80 to kontynuacja popularnego transceivera NIKI80 dla emisji PSK.

Zasadnicza różnica polega na zastosowaniu odpornego na przesterowania diodowego modulatora oraz mieszacza odbiornika na dwubramkowym tranzystorze MOSFET.

Generator VFO jest zbudowany w oparciu o wysokostabilny rezonator kwarcowy zapewniający wymaganą dla emisji FT8 stabilność częstotliwości.

Maksymalna moc wyjściowa transceivera to 3W.
