Contrary to the basic PMR radios, you get a device with a long range, very good workmanship and a battery with an intelligent management system that will allow us to talk all day long without having to recharge every 2 hours.
Classic PMR walkie-talkies (0.5 W) are advertised as radios with a range of up to 10 km (eg Motorola T-80). In practice, this range ranges from several hundred meters (e.g. between cars, in the city, in the forest) to a maximum of 2-3 km in the open area.
Baofeng C3 has several times more power (up to 5W) which effectively increase the range - roughly it can be even 3-8 km
