TYT TH-UV98 is TYT's answer to the Baofeng UV-5R or Baofeng UV-82 models. The answer must be admitted very successful.
High power, as much as 10W of output power in the 136-174MHz and 400-480MHz bands (the so-called unlocked version), FM radio (66-108MHz), CTCSS and DCS, scrambler (simple encryption), 200 memory channels, CTCSS and DCS scanner these are just the most important functions of TYT TH-UV88. An extensive, 41-position menu allows you to set a frequency scanner, adjustable white backlight of the screen displaying two frequencies / channels, dual watch (alternating listening to two frequencies) or three-stage transmitter power control (10 / 5 / 1W for the VHF 136-174 MHZ band and 10 / 5 / 1W for the UHF band 400-480 MHz).
The excellent material used for the production of the slightly rough housing makes the TYT TH-UV98 fit perfectly in the hand.
