Lightweight and portable: self-contained, no computer required
The BL-1 is about the size of a thumb and draws all its power from a built-in battery. It plugs directly into the radio's 2-pin K-type accessory jack – no extra cables or adapters needed. To charge it, simply connect a USB-C cable. Whether you're out in the field or on the road, you don't need a laptop – just your phone and the BL-1.
Broad compatibility and wireless connectivity
The BL-1 supports over 100 popular HT radio models, including the Baofeng UV-5R/5RM/5RE series, Radioddity, Tenway, Retevis, the TIDRADIO lineup, and many more. The Odmaster app (iOS and Android) keeps the device list updated. Just pair the BL-1 with your smartphone via Bluetooth, launch the app, select the model, and you can start programming – wirelessly.
Smart repeater import: automatic nearby configuration
Using your phone's GPS, Odmaster can automatically detect and import nearby repeaters. Tap "Import" and the BL-1 will write the repeater's transmit/receive frequencies and CTCSS/DCS tones directly to your radio. It's a real game changer when traveling to unfamiliar areas – no more manually searching repeater lists. You can also save multiple repeater profiles for different locations and switch between them instantly.
Simple and intuitive: one-click programming
Connect the BL-1 and power on: Plug the BL-1 into the radio and press and hold the "BL" button on the radio to activate Bluetooth.
Pair and select: Open Odmaster on your iOS or Android device. The app will automatically detect the BL-1 – just select your radio model.
Enter and save: Add channel names, transmit/receive frequencies, and CTCSS/DCS tones in the app. Tap "Save" to wirelessly transfer everything to the radio.
Secure data sync across multiple devices
Odmaster requires a free user account, ensuring your channel configurations are securely stored in the cloud. Sync configurations across multiple phones or tablets, or even access them from the Odmaster website on your computer for bulk editing or backup.
