The two-line display shows the user the measured signal frequency and the CTCSS or DCS tone used. Additionally, the Leixen N8 allows for quick verification of the measured CTCSS or DCS tones by sending a test signal to the radio being measured - if the measurement was correct, the user will hear a short beep on the tested radio.
