Description

The Niki is a single-band direct-conversion mini-transceiver designed for PSK operation.
The transceiver circuit is based on the popular SA612A chip.

The NIKI PSK mini-transceiver design won the top prize in the PUK contest organized by the editors of the monthly magazines 'Świat Radio' and 'Elektronika Praktyczna', in cooperation with the SP-QRP group, during the QRP Workshops in Burzenin in 2010.

The factory-assembled transceiver has an output power of about 2.5 W.
The output power can be increased by reducing the value of the R5 10ohm resistor.
With a 5 ohm resistor, you'll get an output power of around 5 W.
Shorting the resistor allows an output power of up to about 8 W.
