Description

The package contains all the parts needed to assemble the universal digital mode interface — a device for connecting a computer to a transceiver and operating digital modes such as PSK, RTTY, FT8, JT65, and many others. Connecting the device is very simple.

THIS IS A SELF-ASSEMBLY KIT.

Simply connect it to the transceiver on one side and to the computer's sound card on the other. The device does not require PTT control, and no connection via COM or USB is needed. No software modifications are necessary. The device is equipped with a VOX circuit. It works great with laptops, tablets, and modern phones as well.

THE INTERFACE PROVIDES FULL GALVANIC ISOLATION.

The circuit allows adjustment of the control voltage levels from the sound card as well as adjustment of the VOX circuit's gain level. The VOX circuit itself allows direct PTT control or connection of an additional relay. Control from the transceiver is possible directly from the speaker jack or from the line output — for this, jumper J4 must be set accordingly.

THE INTERFACE PROVIDES FULL GALVANIC ISOLATION.

The interface is not equipped with CAT (transceiver control)

The interface works with any digital mode software such as MixW, DM780, or JT65 Comfort and allows operation in modes such as:
