RF MELT - adhesive for coils and transformers

RF Melt is a universal hot-melt adhesive for electronics applications, for creating durable flexible bonds 

Particularly recommended for securing coil windings, RF transformers, and mounting to a substrate.

Properties of RF Melt:

• the flexible adhesive shows good adhesion to materials such as metals, wood, ceramics, plastics: PS, ABS, PVC, PMMA, and glass-epoxy laminates.
• Softening point 95°C
• Operating temperature 160-190°C
• the adhesive is oil-resistant

Application of RF Melt:

• Surfaces to be bonded must be free of contamination, especially grease and soldering flux.
• Apply the adhesive using hot air or a soldering iron at a temperature of 160-190°C.
• Avoid overheating above the operating temperature, as this may release harmful fumes.
