The new YAESU FTM-300DE two-way radio offers a stable output power of 50 W, ensuring reliable communication. Thanks to its durable heatsink and advanced FACC (Funnel Air-Convection Conductor) cooling system, the unit efficiently dissipates heat by drawing in cool air through the intake and past the amplifier before expelling it via the cooling fan.
The radio features two independent receivers, allowing simultaneous monitoring of digital C4FM on both bands (A and B). A 2-inch high-resolution color TFT display provides clear readouts of frequency and operating mode.
The FTM-300DE offers a spectrum analyzer function (Band Scope), allowing a real-time view of up to 63 channels around the currently set VFO frequency. In addition, Memory Band Auto Grouping (MBAG) makes it easier to manage stored frequencies by dividing them into four categories: aviation, VHF, UHF and general bands.
The radio is equipped with a 3 W speaker, delivering clean, clear sound. It also features two external speaker jacks, allowing independent output of audio from channels A and B, or mixing them into a single speaker.
The built-in Bluetooth module allows the use of a hands-free headset, such as the YAESU SSM-BT10, which supports VOX and has a PTT button. The headset can be charged via the SCU-41 USB cable, providing up to 20 hours of operation per charge.
The FTM-300DE supports portable and fixed WiRES-X digital node functions (using the YAESU HRI-200 module). Thanks to the ability to simultaneously monitor C4FM on both bands, users can use WiRES-X on one channel while monitoring another local channel at the same time.
