The QYT KT-8900 is the smallest dual-band mobile transceiver in the world with an output power of 25W.
Measuring 9.8 cm wide x 11.8 cm deep x 3.5 cm high, its front panel houses a two-line LCD display, function buttons, volume and frequency/channel adjustment knobs, a power button, a menu button, and a microphone socket.
25W of output power on the high setting is really a lot for such a small radio.
Thanks to its compact size and low current draw, it can easily be used as an expedition radio or on a motorcycle/scooter.
The speaker located on the top panel is loud and clear. The microphone is equipped with a numeric keypad allowing the operating frequency to be entered.
